Cherry Park is a major private rental sector (PRS) residential development worth USD 750 million, located next to the Westfield Stratford City shopping centre. It is set to become one of the largest single-site PRS schemes in London. Construction began in Q2 2019, with phased delivery and final handover scheduled after 2023.
The Cherry Park development will include approximately 1,200 new homes, comprising both tower and mid-rise buildings, featuring a wide range of amenities such as a gym, swimming pool, co-working spaces, as well as welcoming public green areas, landscaped open spaces with playgrounds, and pedestrian pathways.
This new residential district in the heart of Stratford City exemplifies Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield‘s strategy to significantly increase the density of retail outlets integrated with offices, residences, hotels, and other mixed-use destinations.

This major investment is led by entities such as the Canadian public pension fund PSP Investments and the global real estate company QuadReal Property Group, forming the “Cherry Park Partnership.” The UK rental market, where 38% of homes are rented compared to 26% in Italy, demonstrates a cultural approach that views rental housing as a way to invest savings efficiently, requiring rental properties of the highest quality.
In this context, StercheleGroup contributed 792 prefabricated bathroom pods for the first phase of the complex, with delivery and installation progressing according to the project timeline.
